Founded in 1963 within the lovely town of Penryn Cornwall as a fire alarm manufacturing company, Exco were one of the first companies in the UK to manufacture equipment for this industry and are a family run local business.
We are one of the last remaining companies in Britain, within the fire alarm sector, with the capability to repair equipment at component level.
When our self testing emergency light was in full production 20p was donated to endangered species for every unit sold. Our ethics run deep when it comes to issues about environmental impact. Although we cannot operate without fuel we will guide the customer to the most effective way of achieving their goal.
Exco specialise in the installation and maintenance of fire and intruder alarms in large technical sites including the school sector but are equally at home in a small residential environment, especially with a cup of tea! We are the longest serving independent fire alarm company in Cornwall and are registered with BAFE for fire alarms and SSAIB for intruder alarms.
